Front right door locked cant open to take panel of to see what the problem is. Got central locking which still works on all the other doors but the door at drivers side is locked and wont open.

can you still put the window down ? if you can ( or sometimes if you cant ) you still might be able to straighten a metal coat hanger and put a hook on the end . lift the rubber at bottom of the window and you should see the connecting wire from the door handle has come off or broke. use the coat hanger to pull the mechanism yourself. dont look at the inside of the handle, look where it leads to ( should be to the side of the door where it closes ....hope this helps

How to take door panel off hyundai driver door.?

if you can't get the door open then i'm afraid you will have to cut it away and get a new one( the panel ) , have you tried removing the exterior weather strip from along top edge so you might get a bent coat hanger or similar to pull the latch to open door , worth trying because the alternative is a nightmare

Driver side window makes a loud popping sound when you roll it up on my 1997 Honda CR-V. The window leans forward when its up leaving a gap by the door jamb

Sound like you have a bent window regulator. This will cause the window to "pop" out of place. The regulator is inside the door bolted to the bottom of the window in two places. You need to remove the door panel, unbolt the window, slide the window out, and disconnect the rest of the regulator. I think the window motor is replaced with the regulator as the same part. also a good idea when replacing the regulator is to replace the window run channel. it is the rubber molding that the window rides in inside the door and window frame. Good luck, Hope this helps you!

My seatbelt will not retract when I shut the door and none of the windows will roll down. I have automatic windows. HELP!!

the signal wire for the setbelt is broken in the rubber boot that is in the door jam. These wires are known to brake from being bent so many times from opening and closing the doors.
This is how I fixed my seatbelt problem.

My 1997 Jeep Grand Cheroke's doors close funny. Both of them don't close smoothly. Anyone else have this problem? It's not when the door latches it's during the close, like something is bent but it's on...

Each door has two hinges. The bottom hinge has a lever spring and two rollers attached that prevents the door from swinging freely when it is opened or closed. (one roller for opening and one for closing) If the door seems like its bent, it is probably because the rollers are frozen and when you open/close the door the lever spring is scraping across the raised edges of the rollers instead of riding them. If the door is not moving smoothly, or is making loud creaking noises, give a good dose of WD-40 to the hinges as well as the rollers, especially the rollers. The rollers should roll when the lever spring engages it as you open/close the door.

Moldy smell coming from Chrysler Town & Country doors

Try this...Mix a solution of 1/2 tap water, 1/2 isopropyl alcohol...about 1 quart - total should be sufficient. Put your window all the way down and where the glass drops BELOW the rubber moulding at the top of the door, take a kitchen funnel and push in-between the moulding/door panel and pour the solution into the door. Water should run out of the bottom of the door...IF it doesn't, one or all of the "ports" built into the bottom of the door are plugged...causing mold buildup in the door and creating your "smell" Locate these "ports" at the bottom of the edge of the door and clean them out with small STIFF wire. If the door drains water as it should - the alcohol will kill the mold in the door and the excess will run out...no harm will be done.
Good Luck

2006 Chevy Uplander. The power sliding doors won't shut

2 possible solutions. First clean the door pin contacts(multiple spring loaded pins on door side and matching plate on body) with a scotch pad until shiny gold color again. Second the rear edge of the door should be 1mm inside the body opening when closed. If those are correct it is going to take a software download from a dealer to the door control module to fix this. Otherwise you will have to pull the psd fuse and breaker from the right side dash fuse box.

How to remove drivers door panel on a 2007 Nissan Tiida hatchback

The door handle has a c clip behinde it that you can not see.Goto a auto parts store and thay will have a cheep tool to help you.(you need a special tool for this. The WINDOW CRANK handle has a 'c-clip' behind it. The door opening handle trim is held in by either a screw behind a plastic flap that will pop out(behind the lever)or it is held in at four points by plastic tabs (two on top and two on the bottom)that can be undone carefully with a screwdriver or the like. When this plastic trim is removed the door panel should come off.
Be aware that there are plastic clips (back side of the panel) on the perimeter of the panel that hold it in as well.
the tweeter panel just pops out look on the bottom of the door for screws and around the door handle and you will have to pop your window and door lock controls out and the reflector on the door pops out and there is two screws there then al you have is the clips behind the door they make tools for it but a flat tip screwdriver will be fine just get the tip close to the clip and pull it out .
1. Remove window crank (it has a kind of 'bent wire' c-clamp, which holds it onto the window crank shaft).

2. Pry upwards the top plastic cover to the arm rest (this is a plastic coated foam rubber piece, on which you rest your arm).

3. Remover the two now visible screws which fasten the arm rest onto the door.

4. Remove the one screw fastening the inside door handle.

5. With a blunt tool, gently hit the inside door handle in a forward direction (towards the door hinge). This will release the door handle from the door.

6. Pry between the door panel and the door, to unsnap the snaps holding the door panel in place.

7. Finally, lift door panel out and up to remove it from door.

The headlights don't go down when I turn the lights off

You probably blew the fuse on the passenger side inside the Frunk (Front Trunk). The headlights are operated by both relays and fuses. My fuse went out and prevented them from going down. They would go up still.
