Cant get fluid into brake lines after changing escalade brake lines

undo the lines immediately at the master cylinder and have some one work the pedal as you use your fingers as valves. This will prime the master cylinder and allow the fluid to be pumped through to the bleed nipples.

Brakes wont bleed

Sounds like you need to change your Master Cylinder . This is the cylinder located below where the brake fluid goes. You stated no pressure and this is a symptom of this cylinder plunger going bad and not pushing fluid threw the lines. Remember to rate my solution

I have a 1997 chevy blazer that has a brake fluid leak just underneath passenger rear seat on drivers side and cannot find how to see what the heck is leaking what is the best procedure to figure out what...

you most likely have a brake line rusted threw, cut the line ahead of the leak and after the leak and splice in a new piece of brake line, it will have to be steel, you can not use rubber. if you take the line to a parts store they can size it up and get you a piece of steel line and some pressure fittings to put it back together, after you repair the line then you will need to bleed the rear brakes.

Put in brake fluid but cannot tell if there is a leak or not

After you put the fluid in the brakes start your blazer keep it in park or in nutral with the parking brake on and then push as hard as you can on the brake peddle using the steering wheel as leverage. This should pop any brake line that is leaking a little bit but not enough to pop any good lines. If the peddle slowly goes to the floor check undernieth the vehicle for any signs of leaking. If no signs of leaking look under the hood where the brake master cylinder is and check for any leaking around the mounting surface. If no leaks there check inside the vehicle where the brake peddle goes threw to the master cylinder for leaks on the inside, this does happen from time to time.

Cant bleed back brakes

Make sure the reservoir has fluid. A 1/4" drive ratchet and correct metric socket work good on the bleeder. When bleeding, never press the peddle more than 1/2 way down. When you go all the way down the master cylinder seals travel into territory with tarnish buildup. If you do/have you will probably be needing a master cylinder soon. Antilock brakes complicate bleeding sometimes. Just filling the reservoir and letting it set with the bleeder open allows the fluid to gravity down. Also, screw the bleeder clear out, maybe the hole in it is plugged.

97 mustang gt running threw rear brake pads

how many miles are u getting on a set of brake pads before they wear out? Have u flushed out the lines? Contaminated brake fluid can ruin the calipers, causing internal corrosion which in turn causes the caliper to drag and burn out the pads prematurely. The strange thing w/ this theory, is the fact that it's just one wheel. I would try bleeding all the lines though, to make sure u have bled all old fluid, and replaced it w/ new. Has the mustang ever been in an accident? Just wondering if caliper mounting bracket is tweeked, or some other component that the brake system is mounted to. Let me know if this is any help, and if not, if u have any more clues that might help figure this out. Good Luck
