Hi! It's definitely a torque converter problem. The torque converter controls the shifting of the vehicle that when it's faulty the performance fails. I strongly suggest that you have the torque converter replaced including the transmission fluid and filter. A smooth ride and shifting will be noticeable after the procedure.
