How do we install the 02 sensors in the 1999 kia sportage?

when you find the O2 sensor that you are replacing disconnect the electrical plug then using a 7/8" wrench placed around the sensor base turn the sensor counter clockwise looking at it from the top of the sensor. sometimes you have to heat the exhaust pipe around the sensor were it threads in this will help loosen the sensor. keep in mind that sometimes the threads are pulled out/stripped and you will have to run a cleaning tap to clean the threads and you install the sensor in the same place.

Brake problem

Usually if the booster fails, the pedal is very hard to push enough to make the vehicle stop.
If the pedal sinks or is soft, the master cylinder is allowing fluid to bypass the pistons inside.

Troubleshoot master cylinder on 1999 kia sportage

This is not a master cylinder problem, it an ABS hydraulic control sticking, the ABS in this is what we call "Active ABS", this means it can provide brake activation with bo driver pedal input. 1st have the system scanned for fault codes, if none are found I would be suspect of the ABS unit.

Car will not start without pressing gas pedal to keep idle speed up. If I keep idle at 900 RPM or higher it runs as long as foot is on gas pedal. It then stalls out when I take foot off gas pedal. No...

Have the idle bypass valve checked, also called idle air control valve.
If that valve is stuck in the closed position, it's not allowing the fuel to bypass the throttle plate to keep it idling, resulting in stalling, but will keep engine running if the pedal is pushed down.
