Well, since you did not provide a year and make for your vehicle, then Lets assume it is fuel injected , and more than likely the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank of the vehicle. That is an ideal place, because it takes much less power to push fuel than draw it up
If it is not working, you might want to check your fuses fuel pump relay first...
