Question about 1992 Ford Explorer

My 92 ford explorer will not hold water. its not the water pump or hoses. the water seems to comes out the bottum of the rite side cant find the where it is coming from. can u help?

Where is the power steering reservoir on 1991 ford explorer


first locate the pump ..its on the front drivers side of the motor on the pump there should be a cap with a dipstick....i drive a 92 explorer

Cant seem to slide tool in far enough to unlock clips in filter to get filter off


If it's the air filter you should just be able to pull out on the bottum of the silver clips and the'll release no tool needed.

Have a leak passenger side but cant find out where it is coming from,seems like a hose


may be the water pump. get the car hot. turn it off and use a small mirror and look at the bottom side of the water pump to see if the weep hole is leaking. will also help you find another leak with pressure in the system

No it sounds like your water pump bearing has worn causing the leak.Change the water pump.

disconnect fuel filter on flow side turn key on if it spits fuel you should check the sparkplugs and injectors for propper spray pattern
