I assume it's from rain. There should be a gasket around the headlights could be dry or maybe screws need to be tightened. I believe you will need to go from the inside to ck this. JUST OPEN THE HOOD TO CK LIGHTS AND MAYBE TAKE THEM OUT AND DRY THEM AND TIGHTEN THE LIGHTS FIRMLY BUT NOT TO TIGHT OR YOU WILL BREAK THE PLASTIC COVER.

How do i get water out of headlight lens 2005 honda pilot

First, if there is water in the lens, then it is leaking. The best way is to get the lens in a dry environment, like an air conditioned house, remove all the bulbs. Use something like a hair dryer to help the moisture evaporate. Next you need to seal any leaks. New aftermarket lenses are available for a reasonable price on line.

Condensation inside headlight

The problem is caused by the plastic ultrasonic seam welds of the lens to the body of the headlight leaking, there is no correction for this other than replacing the headlight assembly, this is very common.

My lights turn on but will not flip up. What should I try in order to fix this problem?

Go by the headlight and check to see if they are vacuum or power. If they are vacuum then check for vacuum leaks or the cylinder by the headlight. If they are power check for power by the headlight motor. If there is power by the headlight motor and the motor still does not work the motor is junk. If there is no power check fuses, relays and wiring. Than

Moisture in headlight?

Take out the head light bulb partially and turn on the brights. the water will dry out in seconds. The seal for the head light is leaking so take the headlight assembly out and look for where is leaking use clear silicon for the housing and look at where the bulb fits into it and make sure its sealed up also. Use lithium or silicon grease. if it has a o ring seal

1989 corvette headlights intermittently open

check vacum lines for leaks in the headlight assembly, sometimes they dry rot,the vacum lines] it has to a vacum issue. you may need to replace the vacum lines with new vacum hose. you can but it by the foot at any parts store, but you'll need to carry a peice of old one to get exact size.trace the vacum lines from headlights to the source of vacum canister, just to be sure that the canister itself isn't leaking. look for cracks in the vacum lines along the way.if you find that the canister is cracked,it can be repaired by jb weld and repainted, just to keep it original.thank you for choosing

After replacing alternator, battery, headlights still do not work

if the battery was leaking acid from the filler caps on the battery it may have been caused by the alternator over charging (faulty voltage regulator) hence blow your light bulbs or blown the fuse check for blown fuses first,if they are OK you may have to replace the bulbs .....hope this helps....cheers

Water in the headlight

A full size bulb is about 4" x 6" and does not open. I've had Sylvania bulbs leak and they sent me 2 new ones for free. It sounds like you have a small bulb inside a plastic lens with a reflector (mirrors?) in the back and that is what is leaking, not the bulb. If your bulb looks like this: ,then turn it counter clockwise about 1/4 turn and pull it out. There may be plastic *snaps* that must be depressed in order to turn it.
