Hi RAY
is it a 1200 or a 1360??? NICE CAR...cardboard gearbox cover...
the answer is you pinion bearing is worn.no noise when loaded whine when not....although the job of replacement is simple, setting up the pinion to the crownwheel requires SKILL (engineers blue marker, etc)i do not know of any modern (so called) technicians with all these modern exams/knowledge who could do one.or even wipe a bearing(hands up all those who know what "wiping a bearing" is...?) bloody replacement jockeys...

Car stalls when foot off gas pedel does not hold idle

these trucks are equipped with an idle speed control motor. What you're describing sounds like that part has stopped working. The part is designed to maintain idle when gas pedal is released. Now if you hear an audible hissing noise under the hood, then theres a vacuum leak which can cause the same problem, but it sounds like the idle control motor. Good luck.

I have a rear whinning noise when i drive i checked diff fluid and filled and still have noise only happens when driving

It can be gear whine, bearing whine, it needs to be listened to by a tech to decide which, but generally the gears are noisy only at certain speeds that would be around 45-65 MPH and it would come and go with being on and off the throttle. Bearing noise is there all the time.

Goes into overdrive but when u take foot off gas goes down making whinning noise

I would suspect you have a defective transmission that is slipping and the only cure for this is to have it removed and rebuilt. Please have a local ****** repair shop confirm this before any repairs are performed.

MY CAR WONT GO OVER 10 MPH. IT HAS A SLOW WHIN NOISE UNDER THE TRUCK WHEN I DRIVE IT ALSO. I AM THINKING THAT THIS MAY BE A CLOGGED CATALYTIC CONVERTER.

That is a very good possibility. However, if this is the problem, you also need to find out WHY the catalytic converter is clogged. Otherwise you will only destroy a new converter.

I HAD A SIMILIAR SOUND ON MY 2000 GRAND PRIX, WHEN IT WAS NEW. THEY REPLACED THE EXHAUST SYSTEM, & SAID IT HAD BROKEN BAFFLES IN THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. FIND OUT WHERE YOUR CONVERTER IS LOCATED. MINE WAS UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT.
