SOURCE: I have a 2002 camry. The fuel gauge, speedometer,

For speedometer not working.Check the VSS.VSS means vehicle speed sensor.Check out the vehicle speed sensor where it connects to the differential. May have popped off.Clean the sensor and refit. And then check.------------- For no display on odometer the instrument cluster panel has to be removed and checked. If there is any loose soldering or loose wires on instrument panel circuit then it has to be re-soldered and checked.------------------- For fuel gauge not working,it has to be tested. The procedure to perform the test is as follows:--- Unplug fuel tank sending unit connector. Then turn ignition on. If fuel gauge indicates EMPTY, go to next step. If fuel gauge does not indicate EMPTY, then there is a short circuit in fuel gauge wiring harness. To test this Connect a 12-volt, 3.4-watt test light between terminals of sending unit wiring harness to the fuel gauge connector. With ignition on, test light should flash and gauge needle should move toward FULL. If test light does not flash and gauge needle does not move, the wiring harness has open circuit and the harness needs to be replaced. But if wiring harness checks good, then its faulty fuel gauge itself, replace fuel gauge.
--------------
Also for RPM gauges and temperature not working the wires in the instrument cluster needs to be checked.---------- The wirings are either loose or got short in instrument cluster. ----------Check the fuses in steering column in the dash.Check all the fuses. If any of them is blown, replace that fuse.-------------- this should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

How do I fix my gauges? (Ie, gas gauge, temp gauge, speedometer, odometer)

Fuses? Blown fusible link? Most gauges work by getting 12 volts from the ignition switch when on, and getting a ground from the sender. Often the 12 volt supply wire goes to more than one so if dead, both will fail. If you have a wiring diagram, you might find which wire to cluster should be hot, and trace it backward to find the issue. Easier to check for ignition switch feed first.

I have a 2004 M3 BMW. Went to start it this morning, everything ran fine but the gauges were all out. (speedometer, rpm odometer, heat gauge, fuel gauge, ect.) Any idea what this could be? Obvious...

This is a common fault on the m3 e46, check fuse then try disconnecting your battery for a hour then reconnect if it doesn't work then it's a trip down to the dealer for them to delete trouble codes, does the gauges move at all?

All gauges suddenly not working

Check the fuse panel first. Has anyone been under the dash recently, sounds like a harness plug is not quite home.

My odometer, speedometer, gas gauge, temperture gauge and rpm gauge do not work. I've checked the fuses but have not located a problem. What should I look at to evaluate this problem?

there should be a relay box under the hood on the right hand side it should say fuse/relay center under the lid is listed all the fuses and relays there should be one thats for the dash board

good luck!
