Air conditioning line - it has a quick connect coupling that will not unhook

It will, if you buy the correct disconnect too,l for a Ford with spring loc or whatever system you have.

If your talking brake line best to replace the whole thing ! Transmission or cooler line if the rest of the line around thee failure looks good ( no cracks , Stress lines , thinning , change of color / corrosion wear ) then a coupler will do the job . Fuel supply line is usually pretty piecemeal anyway so coupling part of it is OK under idea condition. NEVER Repair/Couple fuel injector lines. High Pressure !

How to replace the gas gauge sending unit in a 1999 gmc yukon


You have to drop the tank. Should be two straps under the vehicle holding the tank up. Then you will need some quick connect fuel tools to unhook the lines. Unhook the fuel fill hose. Then it is a matter of a couple of electrical snaps. Take ring off top of sending unit and pull it out.

HOW TO REPLACE A RADIATOR ON A 1999 VW JETTA


The procedure to replace radiator on 1999 VW Jetta is as follows:--- **Locate and remove the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator, and let the engine coolant drain into a resealable container. Then unplug the electrical connectors from the coolant fan and thermal switch.
**Then carefully detach the release lever holding the front bumper, and take off the radiator grille. Remove all bolts holding the front bumper and take off the bumper. Disconnect the temperature sensor connector and if necessary remove the spoiler.
**: Unhook the quick release couplings holding the coolant hoses to the radiator. Removing the screws securing the headlights and disconnect the headlights. If your Jetta is equipped with A/C, unfasten the A/C mounting bolts and the condenser bracket bolt on the left of the radiator.
**: Remove the radiator mounting bolts and slide the radiator and fan by sliding them downward. Don't disconnect any refrigerant lines, if your Jetta has an air conditioning unit.
**: Take the retaining clamps off the refrigerant lines and remove the bolts securing the refrigerant line from the side of the radiator. Be very careful that no hoses or lines are stretched or bent. Swing the radiator down and remove it from the vehicle.
**: Replace the radiator and replace and reconnect all engine and electrical components and the fender and bumper in the reverse order.
**: Then carefully fill the radiator with a mixture of half distilled water and half engine coolant. Start the vehicle and let it run for few minutes with the radiator cap off, in order to bleed air from the lines. Check the fluid level and top it off if necessary, then put on the radiator cap.
------Its done.

You have a blown heater core my friend. I have a quick fix and a permanent one. Quick fix is to unhook the hear lines from the fire wall and couple them together. That will stop it from over heating. 2 requires a friend and a full 6 hours. Remove the dash. I recommend getting a haynes manual for the dash removal. Hope this will point you in the right direction.

You can find the low side by turning on your A/C and touching the metal line next to the port, if the line feels ice cold than that is the "Low Side".

I've gained access to the althernator and removed the left-side bolt [looking at it from the front] and the right-side bolt [but can't pull it all the way out], but the alternator still won't budge... is...


some makers use three
two on the bottom
on at top
they can be very stubborn you may need to use a pry bar as alloy against steel that has had heat & damp are a bad mix!
it will just be tight!

My 2000 camry air conditioning air sometimes gets hot


There are a couple of things things that could cause this. The first thing i would check is your refrigerant level. Low refrigerant would cause your compressor to turn off. The next thing i would check is a restriction in your A/C lines. A restriction would cause a pressure difference allowing ice to build up in side your A/C lines and not allowing your refrigerant to cycle normally, and of course once the ice melted your a/c will work again.

I need to change fuel filtyer on my 99 dodge stratus,where do I locate this and instructions on ho to change it please.


it should be underneath the car jusy in front of the gas tank. when you climb underneath you should be able to follow the lines from the fuel tank right to it. it should be mounted right up against the frame rail. all you have to do is unhook your battery so you dont take a gas shower when you unhook it. then pinch the tabs together and pull the line off of the filter. they use quick connects on these and it makes them easy to change. then pull it out of the holder, slide the new one in, hook up your lines and hook the battery back up. you're all done.

Heater won't blow hot air


have the heater core flushed. the heater core is a smaller radiator located in the air duct. open your hood, look at the firewall(wall closest to the seats) you should see two hoses a couple inches away from each other going to the radiator. unhook one, from the firewall connection, coolant will flow. then kink the hose so the coolant from the radiator doesnt drain. unhook the other hose from the firewall connection. now you have two pipes protruding from the firewall. get a hose and run it through one side and it'll come out the other. probably a lot of grime. now hook the hoses back up.
it could also be the switch
