How do I get a wiring diagram for a 96 Nissan fuel pump can't find one in my Chiltons

Click on the link.
At the fuel pump, the black wire is ground. The other color wire is voltage.
If you know there is a ground problem, use a redundant ground, so far, it always works for me. Take a piece of wire, splice into the black wire, at a point where the wire is good, run the wire to clean metal part of chassis, Sometimes you can loosen a screw or something and tie-in there, then tighten it up.
As far as the factory chassis ground point, I don't know, at the moment. Just my opinion.

I had an elect ground fabricated &installed on RV Trans to correct a shifting problem. Now my 5500 Marquis won't start. No fire. Could the grounding kit be the culprit?

If the new ground wire is truly tied to a ground circuit it will not effect anything, unless the ground circuit tied into is a pulsing ground circuit. Example: the pulsed ground wire coming from a set of ignition points going to the coil or some other control unit that opens and closes a ground circuit when triggered.

Low Beam failure notification

Use a 12V test light to check. Clip the ground lead of the test light to the FRAME - not the ground wire of the socket. Probe the socket and wires. If no lights, follow the power wires back and test w/ probe until you find power. If it DOES light with the clip on the FRAME, place the test light clip on the 12V (+) terminal of the battery. and probe the GROUND wire of the socket back until it lights - this is the last place the GROUND connection is good. You should fix the break or cut the dead side of the wire and tie it to a good ground to get the headlight to work again.

Brake tail light strip on trunk is out. trouble shoot ? bulb on right side tail light is out. but can't find data on tail light strip of lights on trunk

Lets simply thing here. American Auto Manufacture use three wires set for it rear light assembly. One wire to the braking switch for both stop lights, one wire for the clearance light on both sides. Now if you look at the plug for taillight assemble there will three wires and didn't mention the third wire, it's ground. The two brake light uses one wire, then for on or clearance light uses one wire, and the ground uses one wire On old automobile normal the grounds any place on the body. But now the grounding points to make sure there isn't a faulty ground.

Turn signal light are a separate circuit as with the back up lights. I fairly sure your Caddy uses a Mylar strip with copper strips on it. Find were this copper strips are broken, scratch off the thin layer insulation and solder a jumper wire across the broken copper strip.

There will be a Central location where these light are tied together. Left brake light wire goes to the one wire from the brake switch under the dash, the right brake light goes to the same tied point to brake light switch under the dash. The Central wire point will be at one of the back lights. Just follow the colored wire. Now, each has two colors, one solid and one strip is colored with different colors. I hope this help you. Changed senser computer says still the problem

The sensors under the hood had a ground problem i have tapped into the ground on sensor and ran a new ground back to battery negative [-] to stop that.
get a chilton's manual from orielly auto and it should give a wiring diagram and tell you the color of each wire from sensor one wire from each sensor goes to a common tie point which is the ground circuit hook into that wire from sensor and run a new wire to battery negative.

12 volt system

The wires you have are white for common, 1 black for slide in, 1 black for slide out, and green for ground. Verify the direction that each of the black wires moves the slide before wiring. You will need a 3 position switch also.

Installed radio in a dodge i turn on the headlights and the radio

Sounds like you wired the ground to your headlight dimmer wire. It's grounded until you turn the lights on, then it goes hot, thereby leaving your radio without a ground. Better see which wire you tied in to the headlight circuit. Be sure to check the wires you are connecting to on the vehicle's harness with the key off AND with the key on to make sure it's pos. or neg. when you want it to be.
