That's incorrect. The diamante has an internal filter that's intended to last the life of the transmission. It also has an external filter on the back side that should be replaced every time the fluid is changed. You can get it from any autozone for $8. I highly recommend only using Mitsubishis diamond transmission fluid. Others fluids tend to cause hard shifting......

I have volvo s80 it shows me transmission serves urgant

If you are not very mechanical i would recommend you take your car to a garage and ask them to change your transmission oil and filter, the sooner the better.
or get the filter and the grade of oil you need, drain the transmission fluid, either by undoing the transmission sump bolt located under the car engine, located on opposing side to the oil sump, or removing the sump(replace filter). replace and reseal the sump/bolt. refill car from through the transmission dipstick, located near the engine under the bonnet.

Does my 2003 mitsubishi galant have a transmission filter if so where is it located

All automatic transmissions have a filter, which is located inside the transmission pan. To replace filter, you will need to remove the transmission pan. Before replacing pan be sure to remove any old gasket that may still be present on pan and the mount on transmission. Refill with proper type and amount of fluid...DO NOT OVERFILL
