Question about Chevrolet 1500
The passengers side actuator is on top of the HVAC housing under the dash. Its the hardest one to get to. Its the one where if your wife is your only passenger after a day of her bitching about being hot you will man up and get it fixed type of deal. I've known several guys try to put off replacing that one because labor wise it costs some money but they come rushing back before too long. That being said its not too hard to replace. The dash cover has to come off along with the metal frame work pieces under that, and then take the HVAC ducts out and the glove box and you can get to the bolts on the actuator. I didn't say it is easy but it is doable. Its easier then pulling the dash out. The bolts/screws on the actuator are 5.5 mm
