Question about 2001 Honda Accord

1 Answer

Hello. I have a 2001 Honda accord and it started "bucking". Especially if I am at low speeds or coming to a stop or in a drive thru. I was told possibly bad gas but I put better gas in and it does he same thing. I was also told possible fuel filter or oxygen sensor? I beleive the fuel filter is located in the gas tank so no one wants to take that part. Any ideas?

My 1999 Honda Accord stalls at low speeds and at stops, especially when slowing down to come to a stop. Otherwise runs fine. What causes this?

If this happening when you have the foot on the brake , it could be a failed brake booster letting air into the manifold

Hey, I drive a Honda Accord 2006. When I am driving and low speed or at a stop sign the car starts jerking, do you know why that is?

Assuming it is a manual transmission, the clutch might be playing up. If it is Auto transimssion then the governer is needing attention. Best to go to a transmission specdalist.

Sounds like your timing belt is one tooth off on the cam, this I have seen before especially if it is a twin overhead cam. One tooth off will make it idle really low when stopping at the light especially if the engine is warm.
