Good Morning, sorry to hear your having a problem with your car though it sounds like you are on the right track. If your battery is good and your charging system is working properly then I would suggest getting your starter tested because with some age and warming up they can fail. Relatively simple system when you turn the key it puts power to the trigger wire on the starter and turns it over as long as there is battery power to the one terminal on the starter and a ground made when it bolts down.
