Instrurment panal dead - 1996 Dodge Caravan

The battery is dead

you cannot just change the instrurment cluster without having the jaguar diagnostic equipment to hand to reprogram the modules on the car, it is easy to remove. unclip the veneer then 4 screws, but the new pack has to be programmed to the car. it is part of the pats security system and the gateway module to the can and scp networks on this model, and a previously used pack may not work it thinks it has been stolen.all the modules on these cars are matched together at build could try to reprogramme as a new module.

not really sure on that one but on most first you will need to remove screw around handle that opens the door that needs to be removed. also should be screws underneth handle that pulls door shut that you will have to remove and in some cases . check around edge of door panal for more screws and if found remove them also. once all screws are removed you will need to pry on door panal slightly because there are clips behind panal holding it on. in alot of cases the clips break when removing panal but dont worry the can be bought at your local auto parts store and are very easy to replace. I usually use something flat like a small stiff putty knife to help pry door panal lose. this helps insure that you dont break of crack the panal. after all clips are off simply unplug wire connections and door handle linkage and your done. .....hope this helps and good luck

check all battery leads and earth straps

also check battery terminals are tight check its full of battery water too if its been low for a time bump it!
and have a ""drop meeter test"" done on the battery if its a bad battery it should show that up first time it could have cracked plates inside the battery its self, test by turning on head lights then hit starter, if every thing go's dead!!!! put ""good jump start"" battery on to car and try it again,,, all should work just fine then,,,,it could just be a flat battery?????

lexus instrurment clusters are known for going bad. You have to send it off to get it fixed. call auto & truck electronics at 866-983-6688 they can fix it.

There is a resister pack called the blower motor regulater (they are a common problem). The fan and regulater are under the passanger side under dash panal. remove the panal and there will be a plastic cover retained by phillips or torx scres. remove that cover and you will see the blower regulater and motor. i would try replacing the regulater first because if the motor is bad it is recommended to replace the regulater as well. You can give the blower 12v or test the continuity of the circuit. You can also see if the regulater has any open circuits. Good luck I hope i have been helpful

sounds like the climate control panal is dead.

make sure to remove any screws or bolts and slide the panel up like when lifting someting and then remove the panel and unlpug any conectors behind the panel if necesary then put it bak the same way
