On the two wires on a 2000 kia sephia im getting power on bothe wires that plug into the altornator. should 1 be a ground and 1 hot? if so is the pink with a blue stripe or white with brown stripe?

Have you done any troubleshooting here ? Is the plug getting spark from the coil ? Is the injector getting fuel, voltage, and a ground pulse ? Does the cylinder have normal compression ?

i found one in a haynes book covers sephia and spectra 94 to 04 .i have no idea how to scan this an attach . theres not much to the diagram you have an audio 10A fuse hot in acc or run grn wire .you also have a room fuse 10A hot at all times pnk wire .both are in the i/p fuse block . in the fuse relay box you also have tail lh fuse 10A hot with lights on blu/wht wire the rest is just radio to speakers and antena . wish i could be more help
I have a 2000 kia sephia, i have went through 3 alternaters including brand new in 2 days. The alternaters are not charging my battery and burning the alternaters up with in minutes of putting them on. My engine light is blinking about 40 times. When i turn the trun signals on my speedometer an rpm gage jump up and down.
You have a loose connection at the harness at the back of the radio. Only 3 possible wires that could be loose its the ground wire, 12volt wire or the ignition wire. colors are usually red-ignition yellow-12volt black-ground. Make sure those wires are connected real good!! with tape or solder the wires together.
