If we manage to install, does the tech still have to reset the computer or do anything more? Also what is the part # for the YAW Rate Sensor?

    Thanks,

    Carol

Part number 163-542-06-18 for the lateral acceleration sensor.
YAW Rate Sensor MB#163-542-16-18.
I believe they are both under the window switches in the center console.
Easy enough to replace, but they are not cheap.

Tell us more how the car is acting or what codes came up, and maybe we can come up with other suggestions?

If there is a warning light then it requires an OBD II reader to reset it, but Autozone will do that for you, I think for free. If you tell us the code you got, we may be able to narrow it down to one sensor or the other, instead of both.

The turn rate sensor. Its called YAW sensor. There is a Yaw Sensor (turning rate sensor) and an accelaration sensor. The Yaw sensor is the larger of the both. Its usually the copper looking sensor not the black sensor. The turn rate sensor located on landing gear lever just below the loran cluster which is located just above the throttle adjuster. In the trunk, under the panel in front of the spare tire well(towards the front). Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Clk320 highbeam does not work

The High Beams on the CLK320 are located on the Blinker Switch. If the Blinker is working but no High beams, then you need to troubleshoot that Power is getting to the Headlights to that you do not have Burned out Bulbs. If Power is getting OUT but not to the Bulbs, you have a major electrical issue that will require special tools..

Try using the second key if you have one. Does the key not working look like it is bent? The ignition cylinder may just be worn to the point that it needs to be replaced.
