the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Bonnet cable has snapped with bonnet shut and can not drive it as the reason I was trying to open bonnet was because red lights came up on the dash, thanks J0

Hopefully you may be able to remove front grille and get at release mechanism? My biggest problem is I can't see anything from here.

My automotive database only covers vehicles sold in the US. If this vehicle is only sold in another country, I won't be able to look up any vehicle info.

I'm a jack of all trades and master of none.

I have lost all power to my vehicle while driving. What could this be?

It is possible that you had enough battery power to get started but once running you were essentially using the alternator and eventually it gave up. The reason why a boost did not work is that your battery probably is very dead

The car just shuts down while driving down the rd what could happen

There many reasons that a car shuts down while driving due to the running of a vehicle is really complicated.
Possible reasons may include ignition, fuel, wiring, fuses, relays, other sensors not working properly or at all, a bad alternator or a bad battery, or an overheating problem, just to name a few.

Shuts down going down the road shuts off completely

vehicle shuts down while driving down road and does not start backup for at least 20 minutes, could be a bad crank sensor. if bad it will start and run fine, but it will keep shutting down until fixed.

It is most likely a crank sensor!!!!!!! i am 99.9999% positive that this is the culprit. I am a mechanic and this is the first thing i would check with your description.

Uplander 2005, while driving engine shut off, why?

perhaps your key needs to be relearned. sounds funny, but check it out before you have a situation where you can not restart after a stall. If the computer senses the wrong key, it is supposed to immobilize the vehicle, but sometimes it just goes haywire and does really strange things.

Vehicle shuts off and will not start back up right away. P0601

what that means is your engine goes into protection mode and shut's off this is mostlikel;y do due to low coolant level or low oil level/pressure. have this checked by a qualified tech. diagnostic equipment must be used to clear the code after the problem is solved in order for your vehicle to run properly
