Hi! This thing happened to me too. It's like the key is locking up in a wrong place. I used a wd 40 to loosen the ignition for dirt can jam up the rotation of the keys. Try it and see how it goes. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

2005 jeep liberty will not start on occasion battery and alt have been checked they are good what might the probeem be

When you say it won't start do you mean nothing happens when turning the key car won't turn over if so then more than likely your starter is getting bad and when the starter quits spinning it probably stops on a bad spot on the brushes and looses it's connection if that's the case next time vet someone to turn the key while you take a hammer and hit the starter right on the side of the body don't hit the solonoid but if it starts right up then it's the starter going bad replace it.

What is causing my firebird to burn up a battery every few weeks?

Is the car parked or are you driving it? While its running, what does the battery gauge show? It the meter above or below the midway mark? Its either a bad alternator (or one with bad connection to the battery) or something in the car electrically is causing the battery to drain, like the radio is on even though it may not show itself being on. Good alternator test (although some don't recommend doing it this way) is to start the car and as its running disconnect the battery's ground connection. If the car stalls, you have an alternator problem. Connection or it is bad and needs replacing.

After highway driving for 2 hours and stopping for gas the car would initially start and then stall, it would run again until the car cooled for 30 minutes.

Sounds like your coolant level might be low. At highway speed you probably have enough coolant and with the air passing thru the radiator keeps the temp down, but at idle not so much. Or depending whether you have a belt drive or electric fan. Belt driven, could need a new belt.

I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. It rides very rough when crossing RR Tracks, etc. or hitting bumps or dips in the road. When turning sharply into spaces etc. It dips excessivly also. I like a good firm ride but...

You're correct friend, on replacing with heavier duty shocks. That would be a plus for your driving experience. The short wheelbase on these "Blazer" style vehicles does make for a rough ride.

2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, when I put the car in Park, all the doors unlock. How can I stop that from happening?

on the inside of the rear door panels of my 03 trailblazer there are small plastic switches that can be changed for childproofing exit but the other settings must be done through the computer and the owners manual may be able to step you through this problem

Want start, turn key on you get power but want turn over, have checked batt, alt, start motor? would t be the ignition

Hello rhw... It could be simply that the car isn't fully in park. Go out to the vehicle with the key. Turn it to on and put it in neutral. Then use some force to jam it into park. Then try to start it. Repeat if necessary. Joe
