What is the maintenance protocol on a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500? Does it require some special, expensive filter and fluid?

This requires any transmission fluid meeting the standard of ATF+4, it is about $3 per quart, the filter comes as a kit and is about $15 (USD), very average cost for late models, no matter the manufacturer

NO!!! you will have to remove brake caliper only. prbably rusted on, soak with fluid then tap

Running fine on the highway, and loosing acceleration presure


What to you mean loosing acceleration pressure? Also what engine do you have?

3500 is often with the Cummins diesel so I'm going to assume that's what you've got. Diesels loose power like you are describing when the fuel fiter gets plugged. It's is often overlooked, and in many cases not changed frequently enough. As diesels become more and more popular, people that have never owned one before don't realize the extra maintenance they require. A good rule of thumb is to change the fuel filter every other oil change, or more frequently if you suspect dirt or water may have gotten into your tank.

Problems with Lift pump and injectors on a 2008 Dodge Diesel Ram 3500 Truck. What are our recourses?


we have a 2005 dodge diesel, has been in the shop 3 times for the same problem.! lift pump.,failure, and fuel filter failure,
Does any one out there have any feed back,?? I filter all of my fuel after i buy it , before it goes in truck.... This is getting expensive,, HAS ANY BODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM???
