What viscosity oil did you use???
blue smoke indicates oil burn, and if valve guides, would smoke on deceleration and if rings or block breather, would smoke on acceleration, first try block breather, wash out in petrol, then refit.the mot inspector will give you NO info on why......just charge you a fortune for doing something that may not need doing!!!
invest in a workshop manual and save yourself a fortune...

May have radiator fluid in oil 2001 vw beetle

An oil leak mixing with coolant is an internal leak, which is usually the result of a faulty or damaged head gasket, or cracked head. This is a major repair job, because the entire top of the engine has to be removed to do the repair. You can't see the leak because it's inside the engine, not outside of it. White smoke (steam) should be coming out of the exhaust pipe if this is true.

Range Rover TD6 HSE (2004) Constant White/Grey Blue Smoke from exhausts.Recent oil and filters change. Not apleasent smell either.

Blue smoke means it's burning oil, and white smoke means there's water in the exhaust.

Added together, you may have a blown head gasket. Although it's an expensive fault, leaving it in the hope of improvement (it will not fix itself and there is no quick fix alternative) will just add more cost to an expensive repair.

I sincerely hope that I'm wrong, but you need to get the vehicle to a garage that you trust asap and get them to do a quick cheap "sniff test" on the engine coolant. It's also possible that your engine's turbocharger has failed; this possibility is stronger if you've stretched the oil or filter changes, used incorrect oil or poor quality filters, or if you have turned the engine off immediately after a hard run (all turbocharged engines should be left to idle for around a minute before turning off after either a long high speed run, a steep hill under load or when towing a heavy trailer). A failed turbocharger is also expensive but there's less labour involved.

I hope that you have found my reply to be of use; please take a moment to rate my answer.

The bearings and seals in the turbo are going bad, so oil is getting burned with the fuel.

Internal oil leak, change the spark plugs and cables, oil, filter and add Lucas oil. Take the car for inspection and let me know how it goes. For the belt depends where you get the parts and who does the work.

Sputtering during idle blue smoke

You are burning oil, causing the blue smoke. It is mainly cause by worn piston rings. Also will coat your spark plugs with oily residue. Try an oil additive such as "stop smoke" or another such brand to reduce burning your oil and it may recondition your seal sand stop it all together.

Setting idle speed on a 2001 vw beetle 2.0-

The engine doesn't have a mechanical idle speed adjustment - VW/Audi have a software called VagCom (the diagnostic software they use) that is used to adjust the idle - it's completely computer-controlled. You have to change the idle speed using the software.

Oil Engine Light turned on and beeped after it reached 1200 rpm and then the clicking noise

have you done an oil change lately? If so did you doit yourself or was it done by a shop? I would check to see that the corret oil has been used fior your vehicle, I would also double check that the correct oil filter has been used. also on the open end of the oil filter that attaches to the car is a rubber " O " ring, I would remove the filter that is on there now and check to see that the O-ring from the old filter was not left behind.
