Likely available from the dealer. You may also want to check with local scrapyards....far less expensive there!!!

How to keep center wheel cap on 2004 f150 from falling off

Those are a tight fitting plastic snap in unit...
If they are falling out the CENTER CAPs need to be replaced. To be replaced properly on the vehicle... they need to be aligned... and snapped into place... The popular approach was to hit them on... if they didn't snap in...

HIT THEM HARDER... (wrong)

Center wheel cap falling off

The center cap on these grabs onto the lug nuts. If you change anything it should be those. You could also do something to give them a tighter fit which is a ghetto fix but lining the inside of the center cap holes with paper or something.

How do you get the spare tire lowered?

on some vans like a caravan, windstar ect. there is a little cap located on the floorboard near the back of the vehicle. you have to pop the hatch to see it. lft the plastic cap to reveal a bolt. take the tire iron/lug wrench and turn this bolt. this lowers the cable that holds the spare under the vehicle. when the tire is low enough you can turn the piece of metal at the end of the cable sideways and feed it thru the center of the rim freeing it from the cable. I had the same issue with my ford windstar minivan. I felt stupid when I finally figured it out. I almost cut the cable!!! i'm sure anything that has the spare underneath the vehicle is simular.

Rear axle brake calipur broke and split my rim, i need to remove my axle shaft so i can replace my parking cable bracket, ive removed my bearing caps and pin from the center of my axle but my axle still...

Bearing caps? Put them back in. and retorque, I hope you didnt ruin anything. After you take the bolt and and the large pin out, you push the axle in towards the center of the axle housing and there is a large clip that you remove, sometimes it even falls out, then you can pull the axle out. The clip fits into a groove at the end of the axle. Inspect the axle bearing and seal while its apart ant replace them if anything looks like its worn, To install push the axle all the way in, and get the clip back in th egrrove, then pull axle out to seat the clip. then the large pin can go back in.

I can't get my hubcaps off!

There are three basic kind:
1 has a center cap that hides the lug nuts beneath the cap. These usually have a small slot in them to allow a flat head screwdriver to be inserted in them and pop the cover off which is retained be tension created by metal prongs.

2 There is also a type that has plastic decorative lugs that screw over the actual metal lug nuts. In this case just unscrew all visible lugs and the cover will come off exposing the actual rim and metal lug nuts.

3 This is the oldest style that has now lug nuts present and is held on by tension like example one except that the prongs holding this one on is along the outer perimeter of the cap. To remove this type you insert a flat head screw driver between the hubcap and the actual steel rim and pry off working around the perimeter of the cap as you go. Replacement of this hub cap requires force to be applied at the perimeter as application to the center will either not complete the process or more than not result in a broken hubcap.

Hope this helps.
