I would say that the system needs to be evaced and then recharghed there is also a sensor on the side of the condensor that could be bad

My air conditioner is not working on my 2005 Nissan quest se. what may be the problem? it was working fine yesterday. there is plenty of antifreeze

anti freeze has nothing to do with air conditioning
shaking at speed is , tires, wheel alignment, suspension parts or balance and again is not related to air conditioning
working one day and not the next suggest a leak in the ac system and now the low pressure switch is not allowing the compressor to work
So to cover your problems
take the car to an accredited auto ac specialist shop and have it checked for leaks and gas
then take it to an accredited suspension for a thorough check of the front end , then have a wheel alignment done

I WOULD LIKE A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR A VDJ76R LANDCRUISER AIR CONDITIONING CIRCUIT, NO POWER TO COMPRESSOR, IF POWERED UP A/C WORKS FINE.

by passing the pressure switches to check the compressor reveals nothing. There are 2 pressure switches in he system
one is for low pressure --when the gas is too low and the other is for when the pressure is too high--blockage in the system or condenser fan not working if the system is a climate control unit then check the control module for correct operatyion

Why my camry V6 2008 A/C Compressor Clutch Won't Engage?

There are a number of cut out switches on the AC system that will prevent the clutch from engaging. The most common reason for this is the low side pressure switch. This switch will not allow the AC to function if the R-134a or R-22 is too low or has leaked out completely. This prevents the AC from turning on and burning out.My suggestion is to take your car into a garage that has the equipment to do a diagnostic on your AC system and go from there. There are kits available to the car owner for around 50 dollars that include gas but I find half the time the money is better put toward someone that knows what they are doing. good luck

Air conditioning in my 2002 dodge caravan not working properly. When I drive runs slow and when stopped the car stops the air conditioning too

have you had the system check for proper pressures and if it has air in the system or a leak causing low pressure in the system.this needs to be checked out by a shop that does a/c work.

A local garage mechanic says the clutch has stopped working on ac that is why it blows hot air instead of cool says it will cost $900. to fix cause I have to buy the whole ac unit does this sound correct?...

have you tried charging the ac system? most ac compressors have a pressure switch that will not allow the relay to engage the clutch if the coolant pressure is low. $15 can of r134a and maybe a $20 Haynes manual is well worth the price difference, eh?

I just had my car serviced at a garage and now my air conditioning doesn't work. They changed the oil/filter, transmission fluid/gasket, coolant drain/new coolant, and cabin/air conditioning filter. They...

Maybe the refrigerant charge of r134a is low on pressure. Have that checked. I hope that the air conditioning tubing wasn't disturbed when all of that service was performed.

It really shouldn't have affected the a/c if they stayed away from that system.

My air condition will blow sometimes but then stop or I hit a bump and it stop blowing????

There is a sensor on the side of your blower motor. When mine started acting up I took it to a garage and they told me i need a new blower motor and a new dash board panel. I took it to my "in training" gear head buddy and he replaced the sensor and everything worked fine.

How to recharge recharge airconditioner

Hi, determine if your car uses R134 or R12 refrigerant. You will notice screw type connectors on the both the High Pressure Side and Low Pressure Side lines in models using R12 refrigerant. R134 compatible models have quick connect valves on both sides. Models made before 1995 may use the old R12 refrigerant. If this is the case, you must have your Chrysler's air conditioning system retrofitted to use R134 refrigerant. Mixing R12 and R134 refrigerants is dangerous and may cause damage to your vehicle. Check your air conditioning system pressure using an automotive air conditioning pressure gauge. Keep in mind that in order to get an accurate reading, the air conditioner has be turned on the coldest setting with maximum blowing power. Remove the Low Pressure Side port valve cap and set it aside. The location of the port varies, but it is usually in front of the engine block. Attach the refill hose to the port on the Low Pressure Side of the air conditioning system. The Low Pressure Side port is smaller the High Pressure Side port. Because the ports are different sizes, the refill kit hose should fit only on the Low Pressure Side port. Additionally, the High Pressure Side port will usually have a red cap or be marked with an H or the word High Allow the air conditioner to **** the refrigerant out of the can by slowly turning the valve on the refill kit hose. Pay attention to the way you hold the can. Most kits will have you hold the can upright when you recharge the air conditioning system. It may take as long as 10 minutes to empty a single can. Turn the valve to the off position and remove the refill hose from the port. Recap the port before closing the hood. Let the air conditioner stay on for at least 30 minutes. This allows the refrigerant to move throughout the entire system.
Take care
