Question about 2003 GMC Yukon Denali

1 Answer

All warning lights came on while driving '06 Tahoe- all gauges fell to the left (as if vehicle had stalled). Stability Sys Disabled message showed. Turned it off and restarted, all looked ok. Drove it again this morning and it did the same. A warning light is staying on that does not show in my owners manual. It looks like a fish bowl with "TC" in the center and a line through it. What is that? Also the Security System light is staying on

I just bought an 2004 Tahoe LT and the reduced engine power light is on. And, the stability sys disabled light is on what does this mean

It means you have a problem with the electronic throttle control an with Stability control which is part of the electronic brake control module ,which means there are DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the ( EBCM ) & in the PCM -powertrain control module . You should take to a ASE certified repair facility or the dealer !

Centre diff warning light flashing constantly, also stability programme light showing "off"

The centre diff is the vehicle's transfer case, the gearbox which switches to 4wd or all wheel drive. It is inter active with the stability system, so when on senses a fault, it'll send an error message to the other system. Have it checked by a technician who can plug in a scanner that will help pinpoint the source of the problem.

C heck engine light reduce power stability sys disabled t\c

Your PCM has found a problem in the operation of the truck. You will need to have It checked to see what code is stored in the memory of the computer. The truck is reducing power and turning all the warning lights on to let you know there is a problem that needs serious attention. It reduces power to stop from damaging the engine. Continuing to drive the truck could result is a major problem.

The stability system disabled light came on in my 2004 chevy tahoe, what is that for?

Your vehicle is equipped with vehicle stability control, what the system does is prevent the car from going out of control due to a skid, it does this by applying the brakes at each wheel very quickly to straighten the car out in the event of a skid like on ice or a wet road, the system is part of the ABS (Anti-lock brake system), when the light comes on and stays on it means that something has failed in the system and the computer that controls it has disabled the system

the post that everybody refuse to read or acknowledge is the first simple instruction
when ever there is a problem , have the fault codes read first
it is free at autozone and other parts shops
then knowing what the problem is you can have it fixed at an accredited service center for less money that fixing what is not faulty costs

What is wrong when it is showing REDUCED ENGINE POWER &STABILITY SYS DISABLED

Your car has gone into a safety mode as you on board computer has detected a fault somewhere.Hence this is a protective mode in order to avoid damage to the engine etc..You will need a diagnostic device hooked up to the car in order to read or reset this error code.
