You have a short circuit where your electrical cable arenot properly insulated from each other. Check your AC wiring especially your compressor connections.

A/C COMP Relay - try replacing the A/C compressor clutch relay # 38 in under hood fuse / relay box . ! Could be shorting out after hot . I don't won't to get to technical on you, doing voltage drop testing on the circuit . If not relay the compressor clutch coil could be going bad when heating up . There are videos on you tube , testing A/C compressor clutch relay .

I have a 2002 pt cruiser that is blowing the ac 10amp fuse repeatedly. I mean within minutes of changing it. Also the ac is only blowing hot air. Can someone please help.

An AC system blowing hot air is usually due to a low freon charge or a non operational AC compressor. If the fuse blows, disconnect the compressor electrical plug and turn on the AC. If the fuse doesn't blow, suspect a compressor problem. If the fuse continues to blow with the compressor disconnected, there is a direct short between the ON/OFF switch and the compressor which can take hours to diagnose

I have a 2007 Chevy uplander & my 10amp #6 AC Clutch fuse keeps blowing, I've put in 2 and they blow immediately (but I get AC briefly before they pop)....is it a relay? Where do I go next? Thanks!

This is most likely the actual clutch on the air conditioning compressor. This might be a huge repair bill. You should take it to a dealer to have it done because it is a specialized repair.

Blows number 17 fuse 10amp the heater, ac atc.

I think the 12V signal for the blower still passes through fuse#12 but the power for the blower is through fuse#34 like you said. The blower control could still be popping fuse#12. If you turn all controls off prior to starting the truck and replace the fuse, can you individually turn on components like the blower, heated seats, etc... one at a time? If so can the blower be run with the AC compressor on or off? You may be able to partition the problem a bit further. -Good Luck,

Sentra AC

There's a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay and compressor. There are 15amp fuses that power the blower motor and the ac control switch. All of those fuses get power from the key switch. The resistor and fan switch provide the ground circuit for the blower motor.
I would want to know if those fuses are getting power, and if the control panel is working. You should be able to ground the blower motor and make it run on high, and that should not have any effect on if the ac compressor is running or not.
It could be a key switch problem in that the circuit is not strong enough to handle the load from the blower and the compressor at the same time.

Ac fuse blowing on 02 Grand Prix tested ac compressor cool and only get 1.4 ohms cold is that good?

Not sure I am following your story. Is it the 10amp clutch fuse number 23 ?
And are you saying the resistance across the clutch plug is 1.4 ohms ? And does the fuse blow as soon as you plug the compressor clutch in ?

2002 pt cruiser fuse #11 blown

According to my diagram, number 11 is a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay. I don't see how it would keep the engine from starting.
Is the fuse you are talking about in the engine compartment box and is it a 10amp ?

My 1999 Monte Carlo A/C fuse keeps blowing, why?

Is the a/c clutch blowing the fuse ?
Did the fuse blow with the compressor clutch disconnected ?
You will need a wiring diagram to find out what is in that circuit.

Can some post the 1999 gmc sierra wiring diagram

you don't have enough pressure in your system. odds are you have a leak someplace and the factory installed a saftey switch to keep the ac from running when there is no pressure. This way you don't end up burning up your compressor.
