My 2006 Kia sportage... .ac won't turn on. When it is on -no air comes out.

If you are saying the air volume coming out the vents is weak, do you know if the fan is running on high speed ?
Do you have a cabin air filter and is it clean ?

Battery light on 2006 Kia Sportage

Check the voltage coming out of the alternator with engine running it should be 13.0-14.7 volts.Usally when the battery light comes on the voltage is to low or not charging.If voltage is below 13.0 volts or higher than 15 volts then the alternator is faulty and will need to be replaced.

I currently have had my air conditioner die on me. When you turn it on it sounds like its working but nothing comes out. As soon as the air conditioning went my car started squealing when I accelerate.

The a/c compressor clutch might have locked up it should be free spinning when not engaged but could cause a belt to squeal and possiblly break if locked up

Just purchased 2000 kia sportage and when i turn the air on (heat or ac) nothing is coming out, there is no nises or air. any suggestions?

Does the blower work when you turn off the A/C? If not, it sounds like either the blower motor, relay or blower switch took a poo! 06 Kia? Should still be under warranty.

06 kia sportage airbag control module

If your refering to the light on top of the dash that says "psgr air bag not connected" here;s the deal.

The module is activated when someone sits in the seat. Turn the key on and the notification will light. Go around to the psgr side of the car and sit in the seat and the light should go out.

Check you're fuses ,and if all ok chek power at blower motor,most common thing in the blower.good luck Danny B

air con will not engage if gas is low. it is for safety to protect the pump.
