I'll try to make this simple.
Draw a rectangle and then draw seven bolt holes on each edge.
number the top (will be right side of engine) this way> 12,8,4,1,5,9,13.
Second row starting under #12 is:11,7,3,2,6,10,14.
Bolts are torqued in a spiral in order, 1 through 14 at 22 foot pounds, again at 45, again at same, again at 110 but #11 goes to 100, not 110 (this bolt also gets sealant on threads to prevent seepage) then continue with remainder in order at 110 pounds.

I need a diagram of the fuse box under the hood, and the fuse box inside under dash on passenger side..someone has changed the glove box and my key doesn't fit, cannot get to manual.....1997 jeep laredo

You tell us Jeep Cherokee (Laredo), in a Grand Cherokee subforum? I confussed.

If this is a Cherokee, review the Repair Manual XJ Cherokee

If this is Grand Cherokee, review ths Repair Manual ZJ-Secc-8W-Wiring-Diagrams (page 7, 9 and 10 for location, details and description). The diagramas can find it in the next pages.

I hope help yuo with this (remember rated this help). Good luck.

1997 jeep grand cherokee laredo replace collapsed lifter 4.0l il6

What motor do you have? The V8, you can remove just the intake manifold and the valve covers/rocker arms to remove the lifter. The V6, I believe you need to remove the head to access the lifters.

Head Bolt Torque for a 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L

the torque is a 4 step process

1 torque all bolts to 22 ft/lbs
2 torque all bolts to 45 ft/lbs
3 recheck all bolts to 45 ft/lbs
4 torque bolts 1 thru 10 to 110 ft/lbs
bolt 11 to 100 ft/lbs
bolts 12 thru 14 to 110 ft/lbs
bolt #1 is the fourth bolt from the front on the passenger side....#2 is the fourth bolt on the drivers side then you continue in a clockwise order
