Unless you have rebuilt transmissions in the past, I would not advise trying to rebuild these. Unless you have lots of time, money , and more time to pull it in and out a few times. I would advise a Remanufactured trans (Jasper) that has a good warranty and updated all the problems these had. I do not work for Jasper.

I believe my differential is going in my 97 dodge grand caravan. The speedometer and RPM's went all over the place so i pulled over then it seized up like there might be something wrong with t

Differentials hardly go bad in these. On a rebuild, they are taken out, but not taken apart unless there is noticeable wear or sloppiness. I would say some one didn't put your transmission back together right.

I have a 3.1 litre 1999 dodge grand caravan, there has been a smell from the transmission, like it was leaking when its driven for a while. we took it to mechanic and he said ther weren't any leaks. now...

Dodge has a reputation for transmission problems in the past. The trans can be replaced or rebuilt but there is likely no simple fix for what you are describing. Make sure in the future to have automatic transmission serviced at least every 30K miles to help them live a long happy life and avoid replacement/rebuild cost.

I change this of my 98 Dodge caravan but I'm still

The ****** is slipping the sensors are just reported that it is slipping, this sets a fault code, it doesn't means the sensors are defective as you found out. You will need to rebuild the transmission is my guess.

How do you rebuild the transmission in a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan

If you don't have a lift, an abundance to specialty tools and been through one before, I suggest having a transmission shop rebuild it or buy a rebuilt trans and install yourself. They are extremely tough and transmission techs go to school for different trans. This one is not recommended for the DIY'r

How do i change a carborator

If you're vehicle is 84 or prior you may have a carburetor, (some models earlier or later by a few years) if you are asking about the van you have in the picture spot for the question that looks like 98-2004 ish Caravan, no way it has a carburetor. It would have a throttle body probably. If that isn't what you're working on you can check for an ID tag on the carburetor and order a new one (or a rebuild kit) and rebuild it or straight bolt on bolt off replace it. Most new carburetors come tuned to stock specs... so you shouldn't need to tune it once its on.

Need to find rebuild instructions for a 1997 dodge auto transmiss

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!
This is about as close as you can get to brain surgery on a car! Your cost would be close to $2000! The chance it would even move is about 5%! At best!

Transmission slipping 97 dodge grand caravan 3.3L V6 108,000 miles. when cold sometimes fails to engage for 20-30 seconds. Fluid leaks very slowly. I keep it full.

IF THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS THE FORWARD CLUTCHES ARE LIKELY WORN OUT OR THE TRANSMISSION HAS LOW HYDRAULIC PRESSURE, BOTH REQUIRE THE TRANSMISSION BE TORN DOWN AND REPAIRED OR OVERHAULED.

2004 Dodge Grand Caravan Water pump

If it's red, it's transmission fluid. Coolant would be green. Check the fluid level, don't let it get low, Chrysler minivans are prone to transmission troubles, and low fluid levels over time will ruin a a transmission. And be sure not to overfill, it's just as bad for the trans. Have the leak checked out and repaired, good luck
