could be alot of things. piston damage head damage. piston rod/s can even go into the engine sides, you will not find the full damage until you take the top off. and look at the valves and piston tops. depends on how meany rpm's the engine was doing before it snapped.

Well i just replaced my head gasket in my 1999 mitsubishi galant 4cylinder and made sure my timing was correct and starts up right away but then suddenly stops so im beat i dont know wat to do next? should...

What you describe is very indicative of timing being off. Its not spark plugs.

Double check your timing and balance belt set up. Its possible to get the timing off enough so the engine starts then the ECU "realizes" that the sensor inputs are very wrong and shuts off the engine.

Is the hydraulic belt tensioner locked down BEFORE you install it? This is required (a large vise or press is required to do this). Once fitted and the tensioner bearing is locked, the lock pin is removed.

Im trying to change the timing belt and dont know how

You really need to get the Haynes or Chilton's repair manual on your vehicle from a parts store so you have the pictures and instructions to do it correctly. As far as a diagram of the timing marks and how they align you can look here:

My timing belt went out and i fixed it and the valves and i put new spark plugs in and now it shakes idk wat 2 doo

The timing belt may have not been fitted to correct length or tightness or the engine mounts could have snapped, Have a look at all the engine mounts as if any are defective they will allow the engine to shake the body of the car.

Check engine light on

The new sealed batteries fail without any warning, drive to the store, come back out the battery is dead, the other issues you have are caused by low system voltage, replace the battery and all should be well.
