You could have the anti-theft system called passlock system which can cause this, otherwise it would be an ignition problem and lastly a computer problem. Do you have an anti-theft light that is on or flashing when you try and start the car>
Try reprogramming the keyInsert the key that you would like to program into your car's ignition and turn the key to the "On" position.
2
Leave the key in the "On" position for 10 minutes and turn
the key to the "Off" position once the security light in the car turns
off.
3
Turn the key back to the "On" position, wait another 10 minutes and return the key to the "Off" position.
4
Turn the key to the "On" position for the third time, wait 10 minutes again and turn the key "Off."
5
Remove the key from the ignition and the reprogramming of the key will be completed and ready for use.
Also check all your battery cables and make sure they are not corroded at the connections on starter or battery and cables are tight.
That is a strange one, but the first place I would look is the signal
flasher unit. That is the culprit 99% of the time when you have no
signal lights. There are 2 flasher units, one for the signals, one for
the hazards. They are both under the drivers side above your feet.
You can also pull the daytime running light delay module out and the car should start.
There is a fuse in your fuse box that you can take out and it will
disable the lights. It's either fuse # 2,5,15,22, or 23. The little
green light in the upper left portion of your instrument panel will
still operate as if the lights have never been de-activated. It will
stay lit until you manualy turn your headlights on, then it will go out.
If you want to get to the module itself, it looks like this
It is here:
yes the green light should turn on if it has one. not all of them have the light.
Have you tried putting the key in the ignition and turn to the on position (do not start)
Leave in on position for exactly 10 minutes. Then try starting the car?
That is about the only other thing I can tell you.
If computer is new, ignition module is new, crankshaft position sensor is good, wire from ignition module to solenoid is good, and batter cable connections on both ends are clean and tight, I honestly don't know what that would be and I have been a mechanic for 11 years!
It does sound like an ignition switch problem (not module but the switch itself) or computer.
The trick is to leave it on for EXACTLY 10 minutes. If anything else, try wiggling the key in the ignition. Hopefully it's not shorted.
I sincerely wish you the best of luck! I wish I could help your further but am completely out of ideas.
You can always repost your question and try and let another expert help you if you'd like. I feel bad, I really want to help but just out of ideas and none of my other mechanic buddies are awake right now to ask.
Same to you! Best of luck!

already checked.....it has to do with the day time running lights if they do not come on the car will not run.
If the dash lights and daytime running lights do not come on when you try to start the car the car will only start run and die
We have already replaced the computer there is no anti-theft light that is on. Replaced the ignition module. Trying to get home we are stuck 5 hrs away from home.
We have replaced computer there is not light flashing when we try to start car. If the daytime running lights do not come on the car will not start nor do the instrument panel lights and we have replace the ignition module.
its ran since we replaced win the day time running lights dont come on the car will not start
flashers and blinkers work whear is the delay for the day time running lights
Do you know where the daytime running light module is?
At no point have we ever noticed or seen a green light in the upper left hand side of the instrument panel. Will that light come on if you diable the running lights?
We have disconneted the module and the car will still not start. Anymore ideas?
We do not have a green light...No lights come on when you try to start for example the ABS security check engine cruise....none come on but when they do we are in business
thank you for you help .....everything is new and we still are having no luck....but sometimes waiting with the key in the on position without starting will allow the lights to come on but that has not worked today or yesterday.
We will go to the parts store in the morning and buy a new ignition switch to see if that works....we tried that once but it didn't make a difference but we haven't tried that since the new computer. Thank you for you time and hopefully the swith will make the difference
The car will run fine for months then it will mess up for a couple of days then run fine for awhile then it repeats itself.
we appreciate your help...we are stuck in a hotel 5 hours away from home. So any help was great...we will try again in the moring. God bless you
