There is a large gasket under the entire thing. Are you sure that it just isn't stuck on there? I believe I did a little prying to pop mine off my Regal. There weren't any hidden bolts, nothing out of the ordinary

Car began shaking and running badly. Seems like timing

Just started doing it? Had a similar problem with a 90 park ave., When I took the upper timing chain cover off the plastic gears on the cam sprocket had all stripped off. BIG problem. Also my cam was seized. that one went to the salvagers.

How do i change belt on mitubishi mirage 98

( BEFORE ADJUSTING THE ALTERNATOR BELT DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE OR YOU MIGHT BLOW AN EXPENSIVE HIDDEN FUSE)to change the alternator belt, you have to loosen the lower mount bolt on the alternator, loosen block shaped bolt that the long adjuster bolt goes through, and loosen the belt by turning the long adjuster bolt, take off the belt. to adjust the power steering belt, there is a long adjuster bolt that moves a tensioner pulley, first you have to loosen the nut that holds the pulley in place , now the pulley can be moved with the adjuster bolt.

My 1999 buick park Ave. Superchared is very loud.

The L67 motor in the park ave ultras use a Eaton m90 supercharger. The coupler in the noise cone will go bad. Try replacing the coupler. Can usually purchase one for 40.00 from a shop that rebuilds them. Hope this helps.

If this is a 3800, Upper Intake Plenum or Lower intake gaskets are an inevitability. Head gaskets on these engines rarely go out! Seriously, don't get duped. I am doing the job on my grand prix right now. Google it for further explanation.
