The part you turn to release the air and brake fluid is called a bleeder screw or bleed screw. If you are asking about tools to bleed the brakes they have many names. Just ask an auto parts store for brake bleeder tools. This is a brake bleed screw with the rubber cap removed. Need to know the name - 5fdc04d.png

Can you bleed the brakes system from the top of the brake line

Can you bleed the brakes system from the top of the brake line Rick, No! I will post links to proper bleeding procedures, if you can not do it this way, take it in to a qualified shop. Some vehicles need to use a scan tool during the bleeding process to cycle the pump and valves.

After bleeding brakes still have spongy brakes

you still have some air in the lines. go back thru the bleed process again if that doesn't work, get to a power brake bleeder.(amazon about$70) that is a system that puts pressure on top of mc to push fluid thru the system as you open bleed screws. did you know you can adjust brakes by holding down lock button and pumping emergency brake handle. good luck

Brake pedal pressure low after replacing and bleeding rear brakes

i dont know what this car is but it sounds like you need to adjust the rear brakes and also there may be air still in the sytem, there are many cars that cross brake systems so if you are working on the left rear wheel you would also need to bleed the right front wheel, heres what i would do make sure to fill the brake fluid and always keep an eye on the level as you are bleeding the brakes, start at the right rear wheel and bleed it a few times then move to the left rear wheel, bleed that then go to the right front and bleed that one and last is the left front and that should solve ant air in the system problem, also make sure there are no leaks in any of the brake lines. good day.

I replaced my front brake router and brake pads today. when i bleed the front left brake, a line which im assuming is a brake line near the rear left tire burst and is leaking brake fluid. when u tried...

First, there is NO Pumping of the brake pedal
involved in bleeding brakes

I think your smart enough to know you
need to replace both rear brake hoses,
before you proceed with the bleeding

My brake fluid was empty and brake pedal goes to floor.I filled it but still seems the same

Hello, my name is Ben. If the fluid reservoir was empty there is most likely air in the system now. At a minimum you will need to bleed the brakes. Also, you need to look carefully behind each wheel and check for leaks.

Bleed the brakes on 2002 buick lesaber need to power bleed?

Not really. Works better but if you are going to manually bleed brakes start at the farest point. 1) RR 2) LR 3) RF 4) LF don't forget to check brake res. and refill as needed. I am assuming you know how to bleed brakes.
