well! investigate first the type of sparkplugs your truck does works with! and get them! find out where are located on your engine, get the proper tool, and if you can reach them with your hands and sight, take them off and put the brand news, learn how to use the tool before before to change them. I don't know the name of this tool on english.

SOURCE: changing spark plugs
as you know the front ones are rather easy to get to, but the rear bank is a bear..the best way is on a lift but you can get to them using a 3/8 rachet a 3inch extension and the plug socket.. take the air tube off the throttle body.. reach under the throttle body behind the engine you will feel the plug wires that way.. once you get the wires off the plugs are a pain but changable..

on the 3.1, it is easier to change back plugs if you remove the coil packs. so you can reach the plugs from the top of engine. it almost seems impossible but this will work. it will give more room to work.
