is this aftermarket or factory alarm? the factory alar will blik the head ligth and the factory horn while the aftermarket just blink the parking light an a little black siren under the hood
if the factory is on you need to close all the doors and try to open the trunk with the key,
and if this does not work then try loking and ulnoking drivers door from outside the car whit the key
and if it is aftermarket let me know to give you directions

I just went thru this on mine... it is easiest to get to from the bottom right corner... remove the shields and it's right there... take the lower adjustment bolt out , the upper rear bolt and the upper outer bolt out , drop it down and swap wires and replace . Tip; a shorty phillips screw driver works well to allign the holes on the upper rear bolt. DO NOT tighten any of the bolts untill they are all in.

I think the flasher light and the actual turn signal light are two different lights..take the flasher bulb out and put it in the place of your turn signal light and see if that works..hope that fixes your prob

1992 nissan maxima no indicators working

check the fuses first then if they are good then you could have a bad signal flasher that needs to be replaced.do the lights work front and back when trying the signals,if so then it could be the flasher.note that the hazard flasher looks the same as the signal flasher, also do the hazard lights work when operated if so this indicates the signal flasher as well, and eliminates the turn signal switch as the problem.

I cannot find the blinker solenoid

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but there is NO such thing as a "Blinker Solenoid" . someone may be playing a joke on you. or they are mis informed themselves. there is a flasher relay though . that controls your 4 way flashers, as well as your turnsignal, thats the clicking noise you hear under dash above left foot, when turn signal is on. Hope this helps.

Where is the flashers located to replace turning signals in a 1996 nissan maxima

The combination flasher relay is located under the dash panel, next to the center console near the Automatic Speed Control Device (ACSD) control box. If the turn signals operate in only one direction, a bulb is probably burned out. If they do not operate in either direction, a bulb on each side may be burned out, or the flasher may be defective.

The flasher is located next to the ACSD control unit under the dash panel on the driver side of the vehicle

Hope this help (remember rated this). Good luck.

Definitely sounds like your "flasher relay" has failed and needs to be replaced.

Here is an example of what it looks like and costs:

If neither your left or your right turn signals work, then it's most likely your electronic flasher unit that has gone bad. It's located under your dash near your steering column and will be labeled

the flasher unit controls both hazards and indication you will need to remove the shroud around the steering wheel and follow the wires coming off the indicator stalk down until you find the problem there should be some majour plugs on the stearing collum check thaat these are conected and work from there
