run the fault codes and check for VSS problem ( vehicle speed sensor)
this sensor works the speedo and makes for correct ratio selection in the transmission
If the speedo and odometer are both dead, you should have shifting problems and a check engine light. The speed sensor in the transmission has probably died.
If the speedo does not work but the odometer does, chances are the problem is in the speedometer head.
Hi, The reason for the speedometer not working should be the cable connecting the dashboard and the transmission. This could be caused by a problem on the speedometer cable. This cable is connected at the back of your dashboard to the transmission. Check out if the cable broke or has disconnected from the back of the dashboard.Thank you for contacting www.Fixya.com
It's probably not a fuse. It sounds like your vehicle speed sensor went bad in the transmission. The reason your radio stopped working was because your radio is probably equipped with speed sensitive volume and it requires a speed signal to work.
