Sometimes those things stick on there with rust. I use a rubber mallet to give it some whacks. This will loosen it up after a few and it should come right off.

How would I be able to move the window up clearly the motor works but maybe the switch

Drivers side or passenger side?

If passenger side, some vehicles have the same switch in the back passenger windows. If you have those and they're similar to your front switches, swap them out. That's an easy way.

The other is to remove the switch and test for power with a multimeter with the car power on (not started).

Suggestion: Please include make, model and year in your questions.

Replace a rear evaporated core from 2002 dodge grand caravan

Remove the rear weather stopping. Remove the two passenger side rear seat belt mounting bolts. Remove the upper and lower rear trim covers. Remove the passenger rear most trim panel. Remove the passenger trim panel Justin from of that. Remove the lines from the EVAP core from under the vehicle. Remove the several screws and nuts that hold the rear HVAC housing in place. Carefully swing the HVAC housing away from the side of the vehicle keeping in mind you will need to unplug a couple connectors and use caution not to pull out the heater hoses when doing this. Disassembly the housing and swap out the EVAP core. The rear lines disconnect towards the front of the vehicle about right under the passenger front seat. They will be held to the body with half a dozen fastners.

CV axle shaft replacement

1.Set the vehicle transmission in "Park" and engage the emergency brake before attempting to remove the front right axle. Place wood blocks behind the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling and loosen the lug nuts one complete turn on the right front wheel with a tire tool.

2. .Lift the front passenger side of the vehicle with a floor jack and slide a jack stand under the vehicle frame near the wheel. Lower the floor jack so the vehicle is sitting on the jack stand and move the floor jack out of the way.

3. Remove the lug nuts with the tire tool and set the front passenger wheel out of the way. Take the cap off the end of the axle with a standard screwdriver and remove the cotter pin from the axle with a pair of pliers.

  • 4. Slide the crown washer off the axle and loosen the axle nut with a crescent wrench. Unfasten the top and bottom bolts that secure the brake caliper to the rotor with a socket wrench and slide the bolts out of the caliper.
  • 5. Lift the brake caliper off the rotor and remove the brake pads from the caliper. Suspend the brake caliper from the vehicle frame with a wire hanger and take the rotor off the axle.
  • 6. Unfasten the thru-bolt on the vertical sway bar with a socket wrench and remove the bolt from the sway bar. Take the channel bolt out from between the sway bar and lower A-arm that the thru-bolt ran through, and loosen the bolts that secure the front right axle to the center flange with a socket wrench and breaker bar. You may need to loosen the bolts with the breaker bar before removing them with the socket wrench.
  • 7. Slide the front right axle off the center flange and let it rest on the A-arm. Lift the front passenger side up with the floor jack to get enough room between the steering knuckle and A-arm and slide the axle out of the vehicle.
    Install in reverse order.

I have a 2005 ford freestyle the ac is fully charged the rear works great the front passenger side is ok but the drivers side is warm about 20 degrees difference between the drivers side an passenger

there is a door that directs cold or hot air behind the dashboard in order to make the passenger's side colder or hotter relative to the driver's side.
The a/c door servo may be bad, or the temperature settings for each zone are not balanced.

I have a 1996 ford escort lx and 2 months ago I replaced the front brake pads I'm now having to replace them again do because the passagener side is alread worn down to the ribits driver side looks new...

hi this sounds like you may have a seized caliper on the drivers side, what is happening is all the pressure is going onto the passenger side and is doing the job of 2 brakes, may be more if it has worn that quick, you will have to , jack vehicle up, remove drivers wheel, get someone to put there foot on the brake and slowly push it down while you spin the drivers rotor, if you do not stop within a few seconds then that will be a sure sign the brake caliper is seized, and the caliper will have to be either replaced of freed depending on the severity of it...hope this helps please vote thanks
