Hi, there are two ways to the cause of this problem which are.....

As a result of water leak into the wiring harness which allows the wires to become corroded over time and fails to perform the function of controlling the power windows and locks..

Or faulty motors on the power windows and power locks can also prevent them from working..

You have to check one after the other to detect the cause and fix the problem

A6 turbocharged. Whyu does it smoke when it covers a 120km per hour?

I am going to say 'blown turbo'. As I understand it, they needs replacing every few years. They are susceptible to heat and incredible revolutions. They have to be lubricated, the seals go, and you get smoke.

2005 a4 while driving lose acceleration and power

Would really need more details on the vehicle. Petrol / diesel etc

Is the engine management light on? Are there any fault codes?

Power lose while driving is most likely to be caused by the mass air flow meter, leak at a vacuum or intake hose, turbo leak etc.

More details please........

Have 03 audi a4 conv parked car for a couple of months battery went dead so replaced and now power windows wont work interior lits staus on

Do the power windows not work at all or only the auto up down feature? If it's just the latter, try holding the switch until the window goes all the way up- then release and hold up again immediately for 2 seconds, this resets operation.

If they don't work at all, check your fuse panel for any blown fuses.

Hi my audi 1.9 tdi is losing power badley the acceliration totaly went its just had a new turbo so i dont think its the turbo. I,ve been out in the car a few times and the problem seems to come and go...

If somebody replaced the turbocharger with a new one, you must check up all command vacuum lines, the entire air intake system (air pressure pipes, intercooler, connections, EGR - throttle vane, ...), and also turbocharger and EGR command solenoid valves (three pieces). Could be also MAF sensor defective! Here you have the vacuum air pipes connection picture for Audi A4 1.9 TDI (AJM engine):

Windows and power locks does not work.

I would definitely check the fuse panel (left side of the dash next to the driver's door). Inside the panel should be a list of fuse locations and ratings. Do you have an owner's manual? It should have the list, too. If this is not the problem, please post a comment here!
