clunking from the tranny has nothing to do with the tps or anything even close to it. you may end up needing a new transmission. my friend has the same car as you and apparently they are notorious for having terrible transmissions.
do a vaccuum test to diagnose the revving properly

SOURCE: Focus timing belt replacement.

This is a very very easy timing belt setup. first off you have to remove the valve cover. Then you have to remove the serp belt. Then remove anything thats in your way of the front cover. after you remove the crank pulley re-install the crank bolt. DO NOT LOSEN THE BOLT FOR THE TENSIONER!!!! now spin the crankshaft until the sproket aligns with the timing mark. now at this point the two camshafts should be aligned. now there is a special tool from ford that holds the cam shafts in place. all it is is a 1/4" peice of metal that goes on the left side of the cam shafts to hold them into place. if you mark the cams you wont need the tool. or if you can find something to fit in the left side of the cams that will work too. anyways after that its just the same steps in reverse. very easy to do.

I need to know where the throttle positioning sensor is located on 2005 Buick Lacrosse 6 cylinder the 8th digit on vin is 7

Your vehicle has two throttle position sensors ,both are located in the throttle body ! Here is a picture of what it looks like ! You have to replace this as a unit , can't just replace the TPS .

and has 2 Cam sensors. to make VVT happy,. dig?
weve answered this many times here, over and over
did the scan tool tell you its bad.?
its on the rear of both heads,

the post above is wrong, he shows the 6vd1w engine,
here just for fun, again i post all V6,s just for you, and others too lazy to search or learn engine REAL NAME.

ill do all 3 V6 engines now.

Will a 2.2sfi thats it in a 2000 fit in a 2005 cav. That have a blowen up 2.2 ecotech please give me a call at

you need to be careful on this, the way to determine if a certain engine will fit your vehicle, look at your vin number located on the drivers side at the very bottom of your windshield. the 8th digit is the engine code, and the 10th digit is the year make. as in my case my 8th digit is an "f" which refernces a 2.4l ohc wo/egr, the year codes (10th digit) are as follows:
s.........1995
t.........1996
v.........1997
w........1998
x.........1999
y.........2000
1.........2001
2.........2002
3.........2003
4.........2004

the engine codes (8th digit) are as follows:
4.........2.2l ohv
d........2.3l ohc
t........2.4l ohc
f........2.4l ohc

the biggest thing is wether your vehicle has an egr (exhaust gas recirculation) the engines with this will not work in ones that do not and vice-versa!
hope this helps!

Zetec Vacuum Diagram

zetecvacuumtz6.jpg user_offline.gif If it's equipped with the 2.0L SPI engine (eighth digit of the VIN is 'P'), the most common place for a vacuum leak on these engines, is from the PCV hose that runs from the valve cover to the back of the throttle body. Where it usually rots through is the elbow at the back where it connects to the throttle body. Hope this helps. The only place i could find any views is here. vacuum hose diagram - Focus Fanatics
