How often should the oil be changed on a 2007 hatchback accent. (vic5413@verizon.net)

Every 3000 miles for conventional oil
Every 5000 miles for synthetic oil
Or every three months or so if you don't drive that much

Tip

Synthetics or convenional oils

Synthetic are better oils for your car life.Conventional oils are stanard for most cars but create wear and tear to your motor.Synthetic oils have less larger oil molecules. That cause less friction to your engine making it live longer and less maintance for you.Conventional oils have mixed molecules that create friction to your motor.Conventional molecules look like o0oo0o00oo.While synthetics molecules look like ooooooo.Synthetics oils can increase your fuel economy giving you extra money.Synthetics are cheaper for the consumer because you change your oil less than conventional oils.If you are changing from conventional oil to synthetics change your oil filter to synthetic also.

I have 101,000 miles on my Trailblazer and the last time I had an oil change they wanted to put in synthetic oil......nothing in the owners manual about doing this......should I change or keep using the...

its mostly personal preferance.. your trailblazer doesnt call for synthetic so if you dont want to spend the extra cash i would just get a decent brand 5w30 or 10w30

What is the oil change interval for 2007 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg edition? Looked in Manual but it says to see the maintenance booklet which I do not have. Thanks!

Use synthetic quality engine oil and factory filter and change oil every 12.000 miles.

A 5W30 will work well.

For more oil information check the site of 'The Oil Guy.'

I can't figure out which oil to put in my girlfriends 2001 VW beetle, 2.0 engine. I need to know weight and synthetic or dyno

any good quality 10w 30 oil will work just fine. If you want to go with synthetics, i've done tons of research on them and personally prefer to use them. To make your decision, the best test results are found by "googling" noac volitility tests. You will find a valid comparison of synthetics there. All products tested far exceed any comparison to "normal" oil!

Honda-crv 2008, When to change the oil.

Honda say thats not true and to wait until the car tells you when to change it. I have a 2008 CRV and you should and can wait till the oil say 15%! We took ours in after a long road trip for our first oil change. We had over 5K and the oil said 65%. The guy said that we did not need to bring it in. We still had change it while it was their but the car goes around 8-9 K on a oil change. A little wrench will come on and the oil life % will come on when it reach15% and will come on every time you start the car till you get it changed.

Manual transmission oil or fluid

I own a honda integra 91 i just used a semi senthetic 10w-40 engine oil as this is what the honda dealership reccomended to me and it worked fine integras of this year have the same gearbox as the civics so should work fine in yours all you can do is trust the specs on the store computer or alternatively give the nearest dealership a ring and ask one of the mechanics what to use
