Pull out the instrument cluster by using the dash removal hooks. can be bought from mercedes dealer on any tool dealer like snapon or mac. all u do is to insert the hooks on either side of the instrument cluster usually on yhe lower sides and u will feel the hooks grab th instrument cluster. carefully pull the cluster out and disconnect the plug. you might have to have the steering wheel in the extended position to slide out the clucter. once you have the cluster out replace the bulb directly behind.

Where is the a/t temperature sensor located on acura mdx?

In the cabin, it is in the dash, usually near the bottom of the dash, you will see a group of small holes, The sensor will be behind it.
For outside temp, there is a sensor near the bottom just behind the front bumper A repair manual will be a big help in locating parts.

Dash lights too dim

Did you try to adjust the light with the dash dimmer wheel? More than likely they are just turned down and there is no real problem.

Instrument panel lights

i just recently replaced mine and the temp control had burned . the dash fascia needs to be removed. the vents must come out and then remove the screws that hold it on..there are probably 10 screws.. under the vents , behind the ashtray, and behind the cruise control switch and dimmer switch.. once this is done you need to remove the 4 screws that hold the heater control unit in. the bulb that needs to be replaced lights up temp control and fan may be able to download an exploded veiw of the dash fascia...this is an involved job...but worth it at night!
