I have Ford expedition model 2001 I replace Ac compressor filter and rear expansion but no cooling why

Did you charge it with the proper amount of freon? Is the ac clutch engaging? One of the ac lines should be cold, is it? Check the freon level to make sure that you don't have a leak. You should have pulled a vacuum on the system after replacing the compressor. This would have shown if there was a leak and removed the air in it so the coolant can be added.

Where do you add refrigerant in my 2001 Pontiac Aztec

first find and fix the leak in the system or you will be wasting gas
gas is added via the suction line point at the compressor and is added until a set pressure is achieved in the system
really it works out to be cheaper to have an accredited ac specialist shop do the job

How do I ad freon

this is not a job for DIY's. First point --if the system needs gas then there is a leak in the system that has to be fixed first. 2 nd point ---it is added according to pressures in the system and not by the bottle full. 3rd point what are the symptoms that you need gas as there are least 6 other reasons that the ac is not cooling.

It is recommended that you use an accredited ac specialist shop as it will save you money in the long run.

P0174 system lean bank 2

Could be a number of things, good place to start is attempt to clean MAF sensor and then check for vacuum leaks or kinks in the vacuum lines. Then check fuel delivery system (fuel filter and lines).
Lean condition means there is not enough fuel being added to the mixture during burn.

My lincoln mark lt pickup won't blow cool air

My lincoln had the same issue, first it was the A/C compressor (original). I replaced it with another one (used) and worked for 1 month. Then back to hot air. "A/C experts" told me the compressor was out again. I took it to a Mexican auto shop, old building where the guy works alone and to my surprise...HE FOUND THE PROBLEM!! There was no freon leaks, the lines were freezing cold inside the motor, checked freon>>full. He then checked the filter. This filter is on the end of the line where it is crimped that allows the freon to flow thru. Im no mechanic so explaining what it is, forgive me. I can only show you...the line is silver ad in front of you by the radiator, and its the same tube that goes to where you plug it to add freon. There is a filter that was clogged up and prevented the freon from flowing. He removed all the freon, vacuumed out the system/line, and replaced the filter for less that $3.00. Added freon and his cost was $80.00. Thank God for honest people who work hard for a living. I buy the parts, he replaces and I continue to give him my business. Other expensive auto shops with fancy buildings/prices My Lincoln Mark LT now blows arctic cold air!!!

Air filtration system failure - crossfire 2005

USUALLY THE AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM,TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE,IS: THE AIR FILTER,PCV VALVE,THE FUEL FILTER,THE AIR BREATHER CANISTER(I THINK THAT'S WHAT IT'S CALLED)ALL OF THESE SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR NOT WORKING PROPERLY,OR DEPENDING ON HOW MANY MILES THE CAR HAS ON IT,REPLACING THEM,THEY ALL CONTRIBUTE TO THE WAY THE AIR CAN FLOW THRU THE SYSTEM,TO KEEP IT RUNNING SMOOTH.

Dealer wants 3000$ to replace air unit in 04 accord is this a rip off????

if its whole air unit faulty then its not at all a rip off.but if its only air filter faulty then its not so costly.so just check out what part is exactly faulty ,because whole air unit cannot be faulty all together.
if air filter is faulty .so to replace
  1. Turn the vehicle off. Don't turn the Accord on while changing the air filter; if the car were to backfire there would be no barrier to protect you or others.--Lift the hood of the car. Locate the air filter housing unit at the front corner on the passenger side of the car. Look for a black box that has a large accordion type hose leading away from it.--Loosen the screws on the air filter housing unit. Lift the lid off of the unit and set it aside.--Take the old filter out of the box. Clean any remaining debris from the box.--Place the new filter in the box. Use a K&N air filter, part number 33-2402 for a manufactured in 2004for honda accord. For older Honda air filters check with your local auto part store or look it up online (see Resources below).--Put the air filter housing unit lid back in place. Don't catch the air filter in the sides or it will allow unfiltered air to enter the engine. Tighten the screws to secure the lid.
