Are there any written instructions on-line on how to install a water pump on a 2002 Toyota Four Runner SR5 V6

well doing a water pump is like doing timing belt just one more estep, rmove your water pump there are about five 12mm head bolts and two 10mm nuts, clean gasket surface from any sealant left, replace water pump and timing belt.
dont have any ilustrations to show you but any manual for timing belt will do.

04 jeep grand cherokee v6 - i was driving on the highway when the engine overheated and turned off and would not start until it cooled. what could be wrong or what could i check to find out? thanks

Hi.

Common fault is fuel pump getting damaged after engine overheating.

The pump is located in fuel tank, to know if pump is working, check fuel pressure using an hand gauge. It is available for $25 or so.

Check if there is coolant. If engine restarts check coolant level, if that goes down, then the head gasket has been damaged.

If fuel pressure is OK, check injection and distribution.

I'd remove the thermostat and run it. If the problem continues, it could be head gaskets, but, v6 head gaskets rarely fail. Also make sure that teh rad cap is good; have it pressure tested.
