I took my 2007 Jeep Libety to Advanced Auto to see why my engine light stays on. They gave me a code of PO113. Could you tell me what that is and what I need to do to resolve this issue. Could you also tell me why my tracking light w/two other lights keep coming on every time I travel over bumpy roads. Is this normal?

P0013 HOW DO U FIX ? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ? WHAT IS IT IN GENERAL TERMS?

None of those question can be guessed at here

You need to have a repair shop test your vehicle to find problems

Free codes at Advanced is a waste of your time

A professional still has to use professional tools & road test &
component test the vehicle, codes have nothing to do with telling
you anything, they are used to diagnose a system

Engine light on 2007 jeep liberty

This light could be on for many reasons, this light comes on when the computer sees the engine is not running right or sensor reading is out of specs, you will need to have the computer scanned for codes, these codes will tell you in which system the problem is in, sometimes it can tell you very close to what the problem is, a loose gas cap can make this light light up or a faulty sensor or bad sparkplug and on and on, so start with the scan, autozone the auto parts store and others will scan the computer and give you a print out of the codes, for example a po301 code, if you get the codes i can help you find the problem, hope this helps.

My 2007 Grand Cherokee Laredo's engine light just came on yesterday, no overheating, rpms ok, no sounds or problems. What could cause the light to come on and stay on?

check engine light it tied to all the engine control sensors (and more) Larger auto parts outlets will do a free code scan for you. Once you learn what the code is, you can buy a chiltons or haynes manual and determine what the code means and what you need to do to replace that part.

How do i rest the check engine light on a 1997 jeep cheorkee

Ok, to reset your error code / light on dashboard, go to Advanced Automotive (used to be called Western Auto) or go to Auto Zone. tell them you need them to hook up an OBD II code reader and to please clear the codes for you. It's completely free to have them attach and use the OBD II reader so don't worry about being charged for the service. Once they clear your codes you will be fine. If the engine light comes back on after they cleared it, then there is something else wrong that's causing the light to come on. If this happens go back to them and ask them to use the OBD II on it again and this time have them gather the actual code it's sending to cause the light to come on and that will help them tell you what IS wrong and then what's needed to fix it. I own the exact same Jeep you do and use Advanced Auto's OBD II readers all the time when I have any errors or lights come on. Oh and these Jeeps are known for their O2 sensor going bad, that sensor is located on the exhaust pipe between the catylitic converter and the muffler...it looks like an electrical sparkplug poking out (best description of the O2 sensor I can think of at the moment lol). I may be a female but if you have any questions with your Jeep, feel free to contact me [email protected]

Engine light just came on took to auto zone they gave me this code PO304 Trying to see what it is

A P0304 OBD2 code is "cylinder #4 misfire detected". The first place to start is your spark plugs. 1. Check condition and for wear. 2. check the spark plug wires or coil packs(depending on which you have).
