Take a mirror and look. Place the mirror on a angle to see the chassis. It sounds like your an older person that can not bend down too far

I have a 1997 Lincoln Town Car, while driving it has a noise that sounds like a brake scraping on a warped rotor but it sounds the same no matter what speed you go.when I brake there is no change and no...

Almost everything including what I am going to suggest should change noise by speed. The rear emergency brake liners come off the metal and get ground to dust. Centrifugal force will pin the dust to the inside of the inner rotor/drum. Then when speed drops it falls and makes noise again.

Sometimes exhaust shielding can flap and make a scrapping sound. Check your catalytic covers and various heat shields and exhaust joints. Also some drive-trains had balance weights on the exhaust system. Many muffler shops remove them when changing exhaust parts.

I was driving and all of a sudden i hear a noise thats sounds like my muffler fell off, i still have power,

This is simple. Get on the ground and take a look. If the muffler is there, it didnt fall off. If it is not there ... well .. it fell off.

I suspect more likely your muffler and/or exhaust pipe are rusted through and ready to fall off. Do not operate your car in the routine manner until you get this repaired. It will only annoy the neighbors and could damage your vehicle. There are probably laws where you live that you should also consider.

Get it repaired please.

At times when i start out to fast from a stop sign, there's a scraping sound, that last only a second, then goes away

Look at the drive shaft see if its scraping on the muffler you could have a bad engine or transmission mount and thr torque from the engine is twisting the engine when you start out fast. You would see a line around the drive shaft and a spot on the muffler that is shiney

If you live near, on or continuously drive on uneven terrain then you might be scraping somewhere over time creating a hole or improper installation.
