Please check if you have damaged any wiring during the welding. If so the electrics are affected so that there is no spark on the plugs.
If you have used electric welding , Then it is possible that the ECM was damaged , so check for the firing , the fuel pump parameters to confirm.

How to remove auto transmission on 2006 1500 silverado just rwd....

Disconnect battery > remove driveline> catch fluid with container
that may come out rear shaft or use a shaft fluid cap > remove torque converter bolts> remove housing bolts that connect trans to
engine >remove cross member use floor jack or similar to lower trans don't forget to remove dipstick assembly. Some trans have
a drain plug if so drain fluid prior to removal.install is reverse fill with factory GM trans fluid not aftermarket.after filling shift into all
gears twice check fluid in park or neutral if okay then check for leaks if no leaks lower truck and test drive check fluid once more
on level ground.
Good luck on your journey.

Replace complete fuel line assembly in a Silverado z71 1500 4 whl. drive

Some of these drive shafts require removal of cross member to get them out. The fuel lines run up the back side of engine so removing the cross member will allow more room to gain access to the retaining hardware. jack up transmission and transfer case remove cross member lower down for access.

My back will ever seen an angle. I went to have it aligned and they said there's like a cross member and that is broke. Is that something that can be bought. Or do I have to try and weld it

I'm sure even if something is broken,it could be found at a wrecking yard or
fabricated ,sounds like that shop didn't want to fix it ,no way an 02 caddy is junk because of an alignment angle!

How to replace battery 2004 grand prix

you have to take off your engine cross member that is over the top of your battery and than disconnect your battery. There is 2 bolts on the bottom that hold your battery to the mount unbolt those and it should come right out

Where is fuel cut out fuse

There is a fuel inertia switch in the passenger side kick panel. This is in the owners manual.
If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

The other problem could be the FPDM ( Fuel Pump Driver Module ) on the cross member above the spare tire ( need to lower the spare to see it ).
There was a problem with the factory ones, where corrosion would build up behind the module ( aluminum FPDM and steel cross member, dissimilar metal corrosion ? ) and cause the module to crack & the PCB in the FPDM would also crack.
Here is what mine looked like prior to changing ( metal body only cracked, PCB was still good )

The new revision has stand off type studs, so the FPDM does not make contact with the cross member

I have a 2004 Silverado and I had to replace the battery today now when I turn the ac on the drivers side is cool and the passenger side blows hot air.

There is a electric actuator that controls the vents and they may have lost there base. Turn the A/C controls off and disconnect the battery again and make sure your radio is off too. Reconnect the battery after 1 min, turn the ignition key's to the run position for 30 second and then turn it off for 5 seconds and start the engine. Turn on the radio and reset the station and clock, Hope the electronic actuator reset it self, if not they over run and the gears have cracked and needs to be replaced. Good luck and hope this helps. keep me posted, be glad to help.
