I am trying to change the oil in my 1996 chvy blazer but i dont know where the oil pluge is?

When you jack up the truck and crawl under. It is going to be on the oil pan. Which looks like a metal bowl kinda. It will have a bolt on the bottom corner. The bolt will have a washer on it. It is hard to explain. But if you crawl under there, hopefully you will see it.

OIL DRAIN PLUG ON BOTTOM OIL PAN.LOOK FOR A BOLT ON BOTTOM OIL PAN THATS YOUR DRAIN PLUG.

Drop the oil pan , pull the dipstick out, lightly tap the bottom of the dipstick tube with a hammer so it doesn't smash the bottom but heads upward and loosens and can be pulled out from the top of the engine...to install the new one coat the new one with light grease and lightly tap it in until it seats into place.

I have a 99 Chevy Blazer, when the engine warms up, if I stop the oil pressure goes to zero, then once I hit the excellerator the pressure will go back up, would this be the sending unit or oil pump

sounds like the oil pump, sending unit could be pluged but that would give you excessive oil pressure

Thats a good thing... if it wasn't running.. it would stall out. If it's just getting loud, thats a sign of it getting weaker and needing to be replaced soon
