Do not change it, it is set and when you change it you risk severe engine damage

Can anyone tell me the location of idle adjustment screw on 1990 4-runner v-6

If it's fuel injected, look on top of throttle body for a large screw that accepts a flat blade screwdriver. adjust by turning screw out slightly to increase RPM's;in to decrease. Unlike a carb stop screw, it's a jet controlling flow of air @ idle.

Carb problems

sounds like the vain is blocked, you will need to take out the jet inside and clean it out. its brass so be careful when removing it. should be 2 or 3 in there remember where they all go don't put the wrong one back in the wrong hole they are different pin settings. flush out the hole and blow into them to make sure they are clean clean the hole in the jets and refit while you have it off clean the filter in the fuel line. and change the fuel filter when all clean the cleaner the better refit back on to the engine and use some carb seal blue or red will do as they colour code now. tighten back down . when all fitted make sure the settings on the fuel it 4 turns and air is 6 this will help it to start then adjust from there to get to your desired settings. hope this helps.

Where does the fuel line connect to the engine?

On most engines, fuel from the fuel line enters the carburetor's fuel bowl, a reservoir where a float, similar to the float ball in a toilet tank, regulates the fuel level. From there, a metering device called a jet lets fuel into the emulsion tube inside the pedestal, where fuel and air first mix. (Older models include an adjustable jet; newer models contain a fixed jet.) Fuel travels through the emulsion tube to the main passageway in the carburetor, called the throat or venturi, where further mixing occurs.

How to adjust air fuel on 1983 k5 blazer 350 4 barrel auto trans 4x4

there are two little spring loaded adjusters on the side of the carb, however if its way out due to elevation you will need to re-jet the carb. you need to be carefull, if you set it to rich or to lean you could damage your engine, if you are unsure i suggest taking it to a shop to play it safe.

many of the late model cars & trucks can't be
adjusted some of the carbs are preset some you can force and some don't have an adjusting screw for the jets if the carb is in good working order but needs a bit more fuel you u must adjust the float for more or less fuel check to make sure the float valve is clean free and not sticking ..

1982 ?? their wouldnt be any adjustment as they are fixed jet carbs ,you could try fitting new jets but whats causing them to eat away in the first place i dont know unless its the fuel additive that you have to add to the unleaded fuel
