Hi! May I know the year and model of the car? Usually these procedure applies to all makes and models.

a. Open the passenger door
b. Theres a triangular covering on the side mirror from the inside which is secured by plastic snaps
c. Once the covering is removed you'll have access to the side mirror screws/bolts
d. You will need a positive screwdriver or a 10mm socket to remove the sidemirror.
e. Please make sure that you hold or someone will hold the sidemirror when the bolts/screws are removed for it not to fall
f. THe sidemirror may have connector for the power side mirror so you will need to press and pull the connector.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Need to replace passenger side view mirror 200 GMC Jimmy Diamond

On my '97, there was a triangular shaped piece of plastic on the inside trim that had to be removed. I think all three mounting screws were under that. It's been a few years, but I think that was how it was done.
I remember it was pretty easy though.
