1997 cadillac deville 4 door sedan can you replace factory rear air shocks with good ol' after market air shocks ( these are the ones that you yourself can adjust the ride height by putting air into them)...

You can, but they won't adjust like your factory ones (automatically) Lots of folks replace w/aftermarket shocks instead of depending on factory units.

Front shock bumping when driving at 40 miles shock bounces rapidly causing steering to shim or shake

Are you sure they are shocks and not struts? Have this car put on a rack and lifted off the pavement. Have all the suspension and steering parts inspected throughly. More than likely you will need to replace both the front shocks but it may be something else. An inspection by a pro will verify what is wrong. This can be very dangerous so do not put this off.

How do I adjust the air suspension on a 1991 buick riviera

it has a automatic sensor on the bottom of this car that self adjust the shocks. The most inexpensive way to repair this is to get a manual fill kit and eliminate the auto self adjusting shocks

Rear shock absorbers in 1997 Olds Regency

No Adjustments. The shocks are just too Soft. Replace them with the Originals From Factory and they will be better. They get softer the longer they are used.
